Grade 8 Bayleigh R 8th Grade’s SLE Award recipient is a hardworking and dedicated student who consistently goes above and beyond in all her assignments, while showing exceptional attention to detail and a creative touch that brings her work to life. Her active participation during class discussions reflects both her enthusiasm for learning and her thoughtful insight, which adds great value to our classroom community. Not only does she excel academically, but she also demonstrates kindness, responsibility, and a positive attitude toward both her peers and teachers. She is a true role model who demonstrates being a “Responsible Citizen” each and every day. Grade 7 Marco R This seventh grader is a responsible and dependable individual who demonstrates commitment, integrity, and reliability. He gets along with his peers, not just in his own class, but in others as well. Students look up to him as a positive role model. During Lent, he took on the heavy task of depicting Jesus in the Living Stations of the Cross. His portrayal was genuine and powerful, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who witnessed it. Grade 6 Josiah P This Sixth Grade student has shown meaningful growth and maturity through his conscientious effort to improve his conduct. His willingness to reflect, make better choices, and strive to do what is right is a true sign of character. With determination and faith, he is becoming a positive role model for others. We are proud to recognize his progress and the commitment he has made to grow as a “Responsible Citizen.” Grade 5 Camila C Fifth-grade SLE award recipient stands out for her calmness and composure in class. She participates fully in classwork and group projects, remaining quiet, composed and focused. She is conscientious about completing assignments and submitting them in a timely manner. She does well in group projects or activities and makes a valuable contribution to the group. Her presence in class is a wonderful asset and we envision future academic success for her. Grade 3 Ashley G Third-grade SLE award recipient exemplifies what it means to be a Responsible Citizen. She helps out in the classroom without being told, always taking initiative and showing responsibility. She is helpful, well-liked by her peers, and continually strives to be the best she can be, not only academically but also socially. Her dedication to doing what is right and her commitment to personal growth truly reflect the spirit of being a Responsible Citizen. Grade 2 Henry L The recipient of the Second Grade SLE Award for the month of April has shown noticeable growth in becoming a responsible and respectful member of our class. He has made a great effort to improve his behavior, treats his classmates with kindness, and builds healthy relationships based on mutual respect. One of his most admirable qualities is his habit of always expressing gratitude—he never forgets to say "thank you" whenever he receives help from a teacher or classmate. He has also made progress in living out the four guiding words: Stop, Think, Pray, and Choose, as seen in the way he responds to both his teacher and classmates. His thoughtfulness and growing sense of responsibility are truly appreciated. Grade 1 Lucia J This award is given to a student who shows kindness and respect every day during class. During independent and computer time, she stays focused and on task, setting a great example for others to follow. She is always respectful to her classmates and their belongings, being gentle with others’ things and keeping her hands to herself. Her positive attitude, responsibility, and care for others make her a wonderful role model in our class. TK/Kindergarten Carina F This TK/Kindergarten student is being recognized with the April SLE Award for showing what it means not only to Be a Responsible Citizen but also to Be Like Jesus. She demonstrates respectful behavior and sets a positive example for her classmates. She tries her best to follow rules, make good choices, and treat others with kindness. Her calm and caring presence helps create a peaceful and welcoming classroom. We are proud to honor her for quietly leading with kindness, responsibility, and love. Preschool Charlie L Preschool SLE award recipient is loved and admired by her friends, and she serves as a role model. She is especially thoughtful when it comes to making apologies to any child she may have hurt. As a Responsible Citizen, she follows classroom rules and directions. She walks in line, waits for her turn and engages in quiet activities such as reading a book or practicing fine motor while waiting for others. Keep it up!
