Jeremy R This SLE award recipient displays responsibility and follows through with his academic tasks. He is a regular and active participant during class discussions, while maintaining a good sense of humor. He is well-liked and respected amongst his peers and classmates alike. Grade 7 Elmer R Typically, this student is quietly focused on completing his work. Attention to detail is reflective in the assignments he submits. He continues to grow in the area of class participation. As a student he is really trying to be the Best He Can Be. Grade 6 Kaleb D This month’s 6th-grade student exhibits a remarkable level of energy and enthusiasm in the classroom. With a desire for staying engaged and seeking challenges, he actively seeks opportunities to immerse himself in various tasks and activities. Not content with passivity, he eagerly volunteers to assist with any tasks at hand, demonstrating a proactive and helpful attitude towards his peers and teachers alike. Grade 5 Emma B This student has been working very hard to Be the Best She Can Be. She demonstrates strong effort and has been building her confidence in all subject areas. She accepts help graciously and does not give up when challenges arise. I am very proud of the progress she has made this school year. Keep up the great work! In class, she is super curious and loves helping classmates with projects, classroom organization, and is always ready to help when asked. Her infectious spirit is a blessing for our class! He readily offers assistance to classmates in need and sets a positive example by adhering to class rules. Diligent and compassionate, she consistently delivers work of exceptional quality, showing respect towards both her peers and educators. Amhaya P Grade 8 This SLE award recipient is very focused in her academics and strives to be a good example and model citizen in the classroom and around the school campus. She is committed to her academic responsibilities and does her very best to submit quality work, while always displaying a positive attitude and welcoming smile. Maria Sofia E Grade 7 This student knows how to use her class time wisely. She is focused on completing her work and once done, she is typically seen reading a book. She is a strong class participant and doesn’t hesitate to help fellow students or her teachers. She does strive to be the best she can be. Genesisveer B Grade 6 The sixth-grade SLE awardee is a dedicated and bright student with a heart full of determination and good common sense. She is always striving to be the best version of herself, both academically and personally. Whether she's tackling challenging assignments or lending a helping hand to a classmate in need, her commitment to excellence and kindness makes her a valued member of our school community. Jonathan Z Grade 5 Fifth grade SLE award recipient has demonstrated much progress in his 5th grade year. He works very hard to be the best he can be, and is building confidence in his academics. Grade 8 Earl is a very respectful young man who works very hard to complete all his academic tasks and responsibilities with quality and great effort. He is an active participant during all class discussions, while sharing his insights and perspectives. He has a wonderful, contagious smile that expresses his friendliness towards everyone, while being a great example of someone who truly does the best he can, each and every day. Amelia V. Grade 7 Amelia consistently strives to be The Best She Can Be. She does not hesitate to ask for clarification regarding assignments, always wanting to make sure she does well. She is prepared for class and is an active participant during group discussions. Marco R. Grade 6 Marco embodies the essence of Being the Best One Can Be. With his warm-hearted nature and genuine kindness, he is well-liked by both peers and teachers. Always ready to lend a helping hand, he consistently demonstrates responsibility and consideration for others, making him a positive presence and a joy to have in the classroom. Grade 5 Lia F. Lia works very hard to Be the Best She Can Be in all areas of her academics. She balances being an athlete, being in choir, and being a wonderful model student. In a short time, this student has become an integral part of 4th grade with his active participation and willingness to share ideas. His warm smile lights up our classroom. He always makes the sign of the cross whenever he hears the siren of an ambulance and this makes his classmates follow. Grade 2 Aarav A. Aarav strives to be the better version of himself every day. He constantly challenges himself, even if it means going out of his comfort zone. He is capable of generating creative and impressive ideas. On top of these, he is a respectful and humble student who has a very positive disposition. Grade 1 Zoey A. Zoey has a kind heart, sweet disposition, strong values, and a clear willingness to listen and learn. She takes it seriously to follow all rules, procedures, expectations and guidelines from the teacher. He continues to be the best version of himself. Preschool Alexander V. Alexander is a dedicated and quiet achiever, thrives on quality work, embraces challenges through solving puzzles in his free time, and extends a helping hand to friends in need, embodying the essence of Student Learning Expectations being the “Be the Best You Can Be." Grade 8 Ryann T. This SLE award recipient is a kind and respectful young lady who always demonstrates “Being like Jesus” with her welcoming smile and positive attitude. She gets along with all her classmates and peers alike and consistently puts in her best effort in all academic tasks and responsibilities. Grade 7 Natalia L. This young lady is kind, respectful and always willing to lend a helping hand. She strives to set the right example for peers and younger students alike. She exemplifies the SLE Be Like Jesus. Grade 6 Divya B Divya is a diligent 6th grader who approaches her studies with unwavering dedication. Practical and level-headed, she tackles challenges with a calm determination. Her commitment to academic excellence is complemented by a strong moral compass, as she consistently seeks to follow the example of Being Like Jesus. Grade 5 Christian Jacob C CJ demonstrates a Christian attitude in everything he does, both in and out of the classroom. He is always willing to help his classmates, and does so without hesitation. He is a true model of Jesus’s teachings as he treats others with kindness and respect. Grade 4 Julianne T This caring and polite student demonstrates our SLE, “Be Like Jesus” by making good choices. She does her best to be a responsible class advocate, always asking the teachers or her classmates if she can help them. She demonstrates her love for Jesus when we attend Mass or when we say the daily Rosary, always responding, singing and participating. Thanks for helping 4th grade with such a positive spirit! Grade 3 Avery R Avery demonstrates the Student Learning Expectation “ Be Like Jesus. He exemplified Being Like Jesus by teaching others the right thing to do. He is always willing to lend someone a hand when needed. He also completes the work he is assigned and turns it in on time. He often has a smile on his face that gives others a joyous feeling. He gets along well with his peers (and his brother). I’m proud of all his accomplishments this month and I’m excited for his tremendous growth in 3rd grade. Grade 2 Erin Kelsey C Erin embodies humility, inclusivity, responsibility, and kindness. She treats everyone with respect, embraces diversity, takes ownership of her actions, and demonstrates genuine compassion towards others. Grade 1 Winter D Winter is a kind, loving and caring student. She is always well-prepared for class & takes great pride in her work. She is a student who wastes no time! She comes into class, gets busy working on her class work, participates in class, & follows instructions. Because of her outstanding work habits as a student, she excels academically as well. She begins and ends each day with a warm smile, spreading positivity throughout her activities, whether in the classroom or on the playground. Maxence is dedicated to being prayerful and lending a helping hand whenever possible. Her commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those around her is evident in her actions. Grade 8 Jacob M. Jacob is a very respectful, kind young man who is always willing to lend a “helping hand” whenever necessary. He displays a “welcoming spirit” towards his teachers and peers alike. He demonstrates his faith in Jesus daily by living out the following quote: “Through Him, all things are possible.” Continue to be a wonderful example of how to “Be Like Jesus.” Grade 7 Jay Joseph C. This young man is a kind and compassionate student who takes his faith seriously. Knowledge about his Catholic faith is strong. He spends quality time on his morning reflections and doesn’t hesitate to refer to Scripture prior to writing his responses. Grade 6 Franchescka D. This sixth-grade student is a consistently kind and helpful individual, known for her unwavering commitment to always giving her best. She extends a helping hand to peers and teachers alike, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere within our classroom. Grade 5 Alexa M. Alexa is a compassionate, empathetic person who cares deeply about the feelings of others. She shows kindness to those who need it and does not let others influence her. As a student, she tries her best in all she does and enjoys sharing her creativity and artistic skills with others. Grade 4 Reese R. This caring and polite student demonstrates our SLE, “Be Like Jesus” by making good choices and encouraging others to make good choices too. With a quiet demeanor in the classroom, she is a good role model of how we should respect each other when working on assignments individually, in small groups and prayer. Grade 3 Jackson V. Jackson is quiet, well-mannered, and sets a good example with his classmates. He is helpful and respectful and gets along with everyone. He always strives to do his best academically. Desmond consistently makes wise choices. He strives to be kind, compassionate, and empathetic towards his classmates. He creates a positive and inclusive atmosphere for his classmates. Grade 1 Gabriel M. Gabriel is very responsible and consistently puts forth his best effort to succeed academically. He is also a polite, compassionate and caring friend to others. Lucia's remarkable efforts to emulate the virtues of Jesus shine through in her prayers, playground generosity, care for friends, respectful demeanor in the classroom, and good choices. Go, Lucia! Grade 8, EZEKIEL S. Ezekiel is a very respectful young man who always uses the words “please” and “thank you.” In addition, he shows his welcoming spirit by always greeting his teachers and peers daily. He is “Jesus-like” in his daily behavior and attitude. Grade 7, ZANE P. Quiet, reserved and respectful, this young man is new to Holy Angels. That said, he has made an effort to get along well with his new peers. He is kind and helpful towards classmates and teachers alike. Grade 6, ESTHER L. 6th grade’s SLE student is a beautiful example of someone who tries her best to Be Like Jesus. She treats everyone with kindness and respect, and will help anyone in need, especially her teacher. Always demonstrating a positive attitude in her words and actions, she can be trusted to use her common sense and strong decision-making skills when necessary. Grade 5, SARA L. Sara truly embodies the SLE to Be Like Jesus. She treats everyone with kindness and respect, and is always willing to lend a helping hand to her teachers or classmates. She tries her best in everything she does, and keeps a positive attitude when faced with challenges. She is a wonderful example of how to Be Like Jesus. Grade 4, JAEDYN M. Jaedyn embodies the teachings of Jesus in a humble and joyful way. She quietly demonstrates the importance of helping others and being respectful. It is so wonderful to see someone embrace such a positive attitude towards her academic work and responsibilities. Way to go Jaedyn! Grade 3, COLLIN R. Collin always offers help and gives comfort to those who feel sad. He demonstrates an attitude of understanding, honesty and alertness like an angel to respond if there’s a need. He always says sorry if he needs to. He is courageous to say if things aren’t right. He fixes and does things in the classroom without even being told. He is a great helper in the classroom. He demonstrates the Student Learning Expectation of Be Like Jesus. Grade 2, HANNAH G. Hannah does not only strive to be like Jesus, but she also has a heart that sees Jesus in her classmates. She is persevering and values her time and talent which she generously shares with others. She is well-grounded and humbly celebrates her successes. Young as she is, she is capable of making wise choices based on the teachings of Jesus. Grade 1, ALYANA S. Alyana is respectful to her teachers and classmates. She has a positive attitude towards learning and always wants to do her best. She is very responsible and consistently puts forth her best effort to succeed academically. He does his best to “Be Like Jesus” when he prays, shares on the playground, shows respect in the classroom, and makes good choices. Go, Charles! Preschool RAYDEN N. Rayden's personality is cheerful.
