Maria Sofia E This 8th grade SLE award recipient works very hard and puts in great effort and thought in all her assignments, along with any task she is asked to do. Along with displaying teamwork and cooperation, she gets along with all her peers while offering support and encouragement, whenever needed. Her respectful nature helps contribute to the positive environment in our classroom. Grade 7 Daniel G This young man makes a diligent effort in completing his assignments to the best of his ability. He is proactive in seeking help when needed and participates in class discussions regularly and enthusiastically. He truly wants to do well in seventh grade. Grade 6 Alexa M (not pictured) This student is a dedicated and hardworking 6th grader who consistently puts forth her best effort in everything she does. Whether tackling challenging assignments, participating in class discussions, or assisting her peers, she approaches every task with determination and enthusiasm. Her willingness to help others, both inside and outside the classroom, showcases her kindness and strong sense of community. She is a role model for her classmates, demonstrating responsibility, perseverance, and a positive attitude. Grade 5 Jaedyn M Fifth grade February SLE award recipient’s behavior in class is exemplary. She is usually cheerful, engaged, focused, enthusiastic about lessons or assignments and fully participates in class. She is always helpful, attentive, and respectful; she frequently asks Ms. Garr if she can be of assistance and serve in some way. Her classwork or homework is always neat, legible, thorough, well-organized and executed in a timely manner. Ms. Garr looks forward to her positivity, cheerfulness, warm greetings and her enthusiasm for learning! Grade 4 Austin C Quiet, calm, caring and friendly are qualities that describe this fourth grader who does his best to follow school rules and works well with others. He puts forth his best effort and stays positive even when academics become challenging. He is a good friend to his classmates and loves sharing his sense of humor and creative ideas with them. Keep up the good work and continue Being the Best You Can Be. Grade 3 Pablo M Third grade SLE award recipient exemplifies what it means to Be the Best He Can Be. He is a calm, quiet, and dedicated student who listens attentively and puts forth his best effort in all academic subjects. He follows instructions carefully and consistently strives for excellence in everything he does. His kind heart and respectful nature make him well-liked by his classmates. When something is unclear, he takes the initiative to ask questions, showing his eagerness to learn and grow. His commitment to always doing his best makes him truly deserving of this award. Grade 2 Dylan B Second grade February SLE recipient is a great classroom support to his peers. During Ms. Sofia’s first week at Holy Angels, he was a great support to her as well. He is kind, sweet, and very attentive to everyone's classroom needs. Grade 1 Omecca Y This award is given to a student who always participates and tries his best in class. He works hard to improve in reading and math every day, showing dedication and hard work. He is kind to his classmates and always ready to help, whether by showing them what to do or lending an eraser. His hard work, kindness, and positive attitude make him a great friend and classmate. TK/Kindergarten Duke A This student works hard each day to stay focused and listen to instructions, always striving to do his best in class. His participation shows his enthusiasm for learning, and his kindness toward his classmates and teachers makes the classroom a wonderful place to be. His efforts, positive attitude, and determination to grow as a student and friend truly reflect what it means to “Be The Best You Can Be.” We are so proud of you! Keep up the great work! Preschool Amaya G Preschool SLE award recipient works on improving her fine motor skills by practicing cutting, coloring within the lines, and other related activities. She actively participates in class discussions and is always attentive to her friends’ needs. During her free play time, she initiates activities to keep her engaged. This reflects her commitment to being the best version of herself. Keep up the great work, Amaya!
