Grade 8 8th Grade’s SLE Award Recipient displays a cheerful spirit that helps brighten the day of everyone she meets. Her welcoming spirit and positive attitude are contagious, making her a joy to be around for both her peers and teachers. She consistently treats others with kindness, patience, and respect, while embodying the teachings of Jesus in her daily life. Whether it is offering a word of encouragement, helping a classmate in need, or simply showing gratitude, she models compassion and selflessness in a way that inspires everyone around her. She leads by example, encouraging her classmates to strive for their best while supporting them with genuine care and friendship. Her willingness to serve others make her a true role model in our HA school community. Esther L. Grade 7 This young lady is a kind, compassionate individual. She displays care and consideration towards her classmates and teachers and is always willing to be of service. She definitely personifies the characteristics of the SLE - Be Like Jesus. Sheldon W Grade 6 This Sixth Grader consistently exemplifies politeness, cooperation, and kindness, making him a role model for his peers. He is always respectful to his teachers and classmates, offering a helping hand whenever needed.A true gentleman, he brings a positive attitude to every situation and works harmoniously with others, whether in group projects or daily interactions. His thoughtful demeanor and dedication to doing the right thing make him a shining example of character and integrity. Congratulations, Sheldon Wong, on this well-deserved honor! Patrick P Grade 5 This student exemplifies Christ-like behavior by consistently showing kindness, respect, and humility in his interactions with teachers and classmates. He models politeness through thoughtful words and actions, follows classroom rules with diligence, and strives to maintain a positive and respectful attitude. Aria S Grade 4 Following in the steps of Jesus, this 4th grader is a good friend to classmates and does her best to follow the rules and make good choices. In addition to demonstrating a respectful attitude, she shares her creative energy and ideas with others. It is wonderful to have this student who is full of spirit to make our classroom shine bright. Hannah P. Grade 3 Our Student Learning Expectation (SLE) spotlight shines on a remarkable student who truly embodies the spirit of "Being Like Jesus." She is a helpful classmate, always willing to lend a hand to others, and consistently submits her classwork and homework on time. Her peers appreciate her kindness and dedication, which is why she serves as our class representative. Her musical talents are a gift to our community; she plays the keyboard beautifully and sings the church responses without hesitation, gladly sharing her talents whenever asked. Her obedience and positive attitude set a wonderful example for all, truly reflecting what it means to "Be Like Jesus" in both actions and spirit. Justin E. Grade 2 Justin embodies characteristics of Jesus in the following ways: He treats his classmates and teacher with kindness and respect. He raises his hand when contributing, and he gives productive ideas. Justin always offers to help in class, whether it be by helping another student with a math problem, or when the class organizes their papers, in general. He is friendly, sweet, and enjoys interacting, especially when he shares his choral activities at the S.F. Boys’ Choir. Justin’s positive and helpful attitude reflects in everything he does. He is a delight to have in class. Roman S. Grade 1 This award is given to a student who always shows kindness and respect to his classmates. He is quick to help others when they need it, whether with schoolwork or just being a friend. When there is a problem, he solves it peacefully and is always willing to forgive. His caring actions help make the class a better and more positive place for everyone. Annalisa C. TK/Kindergarten This student shines brightly in our class by living out our Student Learning Expectation of "Being Like Jesus." She generously helps her classmates with their classwork and computer tasks, shows kindness and care when someone is hurt, and treats both her teachers and peers with respect. Preschool Xyla Feliciana is consistent in participating actively in prayers. She takes good care of her friends by helping them take their backpacks out of the cubby after nap time to get ready to go home. She is also concerned about friends who are absent from school.
