I was born in the Philippines and grew up in the Daly City/Colma area since I arrived from the Philippines at the age of three. I graduated from Holy Angels School in 1993; I then attended Archbishop Riordan High School and graduated in 1997. I went on to study at San Francisco State University where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, a multiple subject teaching credential and a Masters of Art degree in Educational Administration. I have been blessed to be teaching here at Holy Angels School since 1998; currently, I am the Vice-Principal, Athletic Director, 8th Grade Homeroom Teacher, the Science Instructor for Grades 6-8, and the PE Instructor for Grades 3-8. At times, I coach basketball teams at HA when there is a need. I am married and blessed with two wonderful daughters; one of them is currently in 2nd grade at Holy Angels School. My wife and I are expecting a 3rd child, in the winter of 2024! We continue to contribute to the enrollment, here at HA! LOL! During my free time, I enjoy playing sports, going to sporting events, traveling, laughing and watching scary/thrilling movies. I love eating hotdogs from Costco and anything I can put lots of cheese on. At the end of the day, I am truly thankful to be part of our Holy Angels School Family! I have had a 40-year career with children beginning in my teenage years with the Girl Scouts. I later earned an Early Childhood Certificate and taught Preschool for 17 years. While teaching and raising a family with my husband of 44 years I earned my Bachelor's Degree at San Francisco State University followed by my teaching credential. I have been teaching at Holy Angels for 16 years, first in First Grade and then moving to TK/Kindergarten in 2020-2021. Outside of teaching I enjoy visiting Disneyland, being outdoors and crafting, ith a soft spot for Grumpy and the Peanuts Gang as my favorite characters.

I'm a 3rd grade teacher. I finished my BSED in the Philippines. I taught various grades from my previous assignments. In the passed I also worked in a hospital and nursing care facility as nursing assistant and patient care technician for 12 years. It has been a true blessing once again to be back after 15 years and be part of Holy Angels School community. This is my 14th year in teaching profession. I enjoy being in solitude and in communion with the Lord in prayer. The best part of being a teacher is to get my students excited for school. Having them learn something they never learned before.

Inspired by education and the creative arts, I have dedicated over 26 years teaching students of all ages. After receiving a Master in Art Eduction form Louisiana State University, I traveled west to California where I have spent 21 years teaching at Holy Angels School. While I miss my Louisiana roots (and the food), I've found a home in Daly City, where I've embraced Catholicism, married my husband, and watched our two children grow into young adults. Also, my husband and children attended Holy Angels School, making it a cherished journey filled with learning and love. In my free time, I really enjoy visiting art museums and I am constantly inspired by all the students who love art!

I have lived in Daly City almost my entire life and am a graduate of Holy Angels School, as are my siblings and three daughters. Playing guitar and singing at the church and school masses is a passion I have enjoyed since I was in the 7th grade. In the spring of 2022, I embarked on an adventure to further my education and, God willing, will graduate with my Masters degree May 2024. In my spare time, I enjoy reading mystery novels, and relaxing with my two dogs.

I have a long-standing commitment with Catholic education and the Archdiocese of San Francisco. I am a graduate of St. Paul of the Shipwreck Elementary School and Mercy High School. I have been a teacher at Holy Angels School since 1994 and am currently teaching seventh grade. My time here has not been without its challenges, but I greatly appreciate the support, care and inspiration I receive from colleagues and students alike.

Holy Angels School has been a second home to me for over two decades, serving as a computer teacher and technology coordinator. I'm proud to say that two of my children graduated from Holy Angels, one in 2007 and the other in 2016. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and have a Master of Arts in Urban Education, focusing on Digital Learning. Academics aside, I love to eat and spend time in the great outdoors through hiking and running. I've completed several half marathons, and my ultimate goal is to cross a full marathon off my bucket list.
