Extended Day Care Program

History 
Holy Angels' Extended Care Program was established in September 1991 as an onsite program for the supervision of Holy Angels' students after school. It operates under the policies as outlined in the Parent/Student Handbook and the Extended Care Parent Handbook. The program is supervised by the principal with a director and staff maintaining daily operations.

Philosophy
Our Extended Care Program is an extension of the Holy Angels' faith community. We continue to provide for the development and well being of the whole child through Christian values and to create a welcoming family atmosphere.

Registration
Enrollment in the Extended Care Program is by pre-registration for those using the facility 3 or more times in a month. It is available for students in kindergarten through grade eight. Registration forms are available in the school office.  Students not picked up within 15 minutes of  school dismissal will be sent to extended care as drop-ins for their safety. 

Hours of Operation
Extended Day Care is open each day at 3:15 PM and closes at 6:00 PM. It operates all regular school days and minimum days with the following exceptions: first day of school, last day of school, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, the last day before Christmas break, and Holy Thursday. Extended Care is closed any day designated a school holiday as shown on the school calendar.

General Schedule
Schedule for regular dismissal days -- 3:15 sign in followed by homework/study time in the Science Lab. Once homework is completed children may play structured and unstructured games. Tutoring is available during the week (space available). 

Fees for 2022-2023
Fees are deducted via FACTS.
5 days per week - $300 per child 
After school drop-in basis - $15/hr per child
$10 per minute charge after 6 PM or after 12:45 PM (on 12:30 PM dismissal days without extended care)
