![]() Congratulations to 4th grade student, Marco Gomez who won Honorable Mention for his essay in the San Francisco Archdiocesan Respect Life Essay Contest. This year, the theme was "Loving All from Conception to Natural Death." Marco, along with other students from Archdiocesan Catholic Schools, will be recognized during Mass on February 9 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral in San Francisco. All winners, AND EVERY STUDENT WHO PARTICIPATED are invited along with their families and friends to attend.

On Wednesday, January 15, 2020, Holy Angels held its annual spelling bee. This year's participants included the following students from grades 5 through 8: John Mercado, Mikaela Vital, Jenna Bulanadi, Jaiden Magat, Adam Cajuguiran, Bobby Gutierrez, Mia Amasa-Patacsil and Princess Cantiller. After 21 intense rounds, fifth grader, John Mercado was declared the champion after spelling the word "attainment". He will proceed to the next level of competition in February. All students need to be commended for their spelling skill as well as their courage in participating in this year's bee. Great job everyone!

Deanna - she always stays a little longer after Lexia to help in putting the chromebooks back to its charging case. Lillian - For being kind and generous in extending a helping hand to her teacher in need and to her classmates, her willingness to help them with some difficult questions is commendable. Grade 5 Marian - for consistently sharing her time to help her classmate who is in need. Grade 4 Brooke - always does what is asked of her and she was very helpful at our Family Mass. Keanne - always very cheerful and nice to his classmates and teachers. Grade 2 Laurianna - for helping and assisting her classmates in their class work Genesisveer - for cleaning up the board and picking up pencils and crayons on the floor. Grade 1 Luca - for putting classmates' reading books away Ehlani - for helping clean tables Lia - for helping clean tables Kindergarten Sophia, Reese, Giuliana - During their recess, the girls picked up several pieces garbage while smiling. The girls called themselves “Hello Kitty Clean Up Girls”!!! Stephanie - Reaching out to help a friend who fell Preschool Kosisochukwa - cleans up toys not being told by the teachers. |
