CYO Champions

Congratulations to the following boys’ basketball teams as all 3 teams won their CYO championship games last week to be CYO LEAGUE CHAMPS…

1) 6th grade boys-Division 3 coached by Alex Arzadon and Rod Fernandez…the boys defeated St. Paul’s last Thursday 42-30 in a thrilling, fast paced game.  It was tied at the half 14-14 and the 6th grade boys just dominated the 3rd quarter by scoring 18 points in the quarter.  They made clutch shots and held off St. Paul’s.

2) 4th grade boys-Division 6 coached by Antonio Mercado and Guy Pagsolingan….the boys defeated St. Paul’s this past Saturday 22-11.  The game was tied at halftime 5-5 and the 4th grade boys just tightened up their Defense in the 2nd half and hit big baskets to extend their lead and runaway with the game.

3) 3rd grade boys-Division 6 coached by Rod Fernandez, Ben Fernandez and Mike Del Rosario…The Angels won 22-3 against St. Anne’s in a dominating performance.
