First School Mass

Last Friday, September 13th, the whole school gathered together in church for the first school mass of the year. Our new pastor, Father Alex Legazpi, celebrated the mass. After the mass, the student body officers and class representatives were installed and Student Body President, Aja Marie Pineda, gave her inaugural speech.

The first school mass was fun because I saw our new pastor, Father Alex. And seeing all my classmates again. The school was singing nicely, and the gospel was good.

When I was in church I was amazed how smoothly it went. When Fr. Alex first introduced himself I was happy that he will be our new head priest because he seems funny and would be nice to everyone.

The first school mass was a great way to start the new year. Father Alex is a friendly priest. I like his homily about peace in the world.

The first school mass was amazing, Father Alex seemed like a very good person his personality was great and he had a very good way of explaining. I thought it was a very good mass good job eighth grade.

I liked the first school mass because we have a new father. The 8th grade sponsored the mass. He talked about peace and to giving it to the world. Father Alex is a very good father and he should be proud of himself.
