Welcome to 2016-2017 School Year

Message From the Principal

Here we are beginning another school year of learning and fun!

This year's theme continues to be "Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service." In just three words, this theme expresses what Catholic Schools are all about. We teach our students FAITH, not just the basics of Christianity, but how to have a relationship with God. We hold them to meaningful KNOWLEDGE and do everything we can to help students reach their full potential. We also teach them how to SERVE both as a way to express their faith and to become good citizens of church and society.

Last year we worked as a team to complete the WCEA (Western Catholic Educational Association) and WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) process of accreditation. This process proves the quality Catholic education and educational excellence that we provide our students. I want to thank our faculty, staff, HAPAC, students and parents for your participation and commitment to this process. We are given the highest rating of six years that prove the excellence of education and quality faith formation that we hold true to our school and community.

In June the school's wireless network got a much needed upgrade. Cisco small business controllers, switches and access points were installed. These should provide far greater coverage and faster speed than before. The equipment alone would have cost the school at least $20,000 but this upgrade did not cost the school anything. Our sincere thanks to generous donors and volunteers for making this happen.

This school year Kids Stock Inc. Performing Arts Program for Children will be doing the dance classes from pre-school to 8th grade. Spanish classes will be integrated in our curriculum. Mrs. Laura Nordman, Mrs. America Fong and Mrs. Connie Gonzalez will be our Spanish class instructors.
